In the night by eelstork In the night by eelstork
Animated Turntable here.

I've been working on this scene as part of drafting the small environment making up the core of the 'village' project.
I guess I'm about to swap the houses and church as this is likely the biggest change that will impact everything visually, and is already decided.

The colourful cubes are intended to be magical platforms of sorts.
Thinking of adding a day/night cycle, may not be animated well not until I figured whether we're baking static shadows or not.

Help with this game project!

Aside from making a game environment I consider this a unique chance for me to create a a detailed scene so I will update later, really looking forward to this.

Poly-modeled in Blenderrrr.
Rendered in Cycles.

Interesting concept. I'd love to see a render with more detail and textures. Have a llama.

Well, not sure how the question is meant to be understood, this is a fairly new project I've been working on.

Codename is "Village" for now because its main concept is to discover a village in the air using a mix of platforming and adventuring gameplay. We have a brooding/moody main character and trying to understand what she's doing here.

I'm afraid this is typical of my style that we discover what game we are making as we are making it, rather than planning everything ahead : )

Other than that we're building a bit of an ecosystem but I don't really know how this will evolve, just like the idea of making the game more alive than average.

If you're curious you can check the team blog which currently is left open to random/casual visitors (not sure if we can keep it open forever...)
